Doug Chapman (born August 22, 1977) is a former running back in the National Football League who was drafted in the third round of the 2000 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings, for whom he played from 2000 to 2003. He signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2004, and retired in 2005 after a back injury. He attended Marshall University. Chapman was a color commentator for ESPN and the CBS Sports Network from 2008 to 2012. Chapman is currently a college football analyst for Campus Insiders and joined the Big Ten Network for the 2013 season as a guest analyst on ''Big Ten Football & Beyond'', making his debut on September 3, 2013. ==References==
